As a photographer, art maker and ever-evolving human, I’ve been learning to make time and space for things I need - not just practically, but spiritually and artistically. I think the most important part of the photographs I take these days, is in the authenticity I hold for my own vision, for myself and for those audiences that desire the same feeling. In finding likeminds, I feel a sense of belonging for our shared joy of appreciating nature in its moment. Crawling around in the tall grasses of a field, taking pictures of horses trotting in the last flecks of sunlight makes me feel at peace in the world, like I’m doing something just for me. I’m happiest when I can create imagery that’s my own, where I’m allowed to indulge in exactly what I find beautiful, that borders on the whimsical, conspicuous and candid. It’s hard to narrow down exactly how I’d label myself as a photographer or art maker - I think I’m still figuring that out - and I’m enjoying the journey..

LE BLANC STUDIO is a photographic company focused on capturing candid moments of love and celebration. Amie is currently based in Vancouver, BC, with roots throughout the Sea-to-Sky Corridor as a locally-raised Pembertonian.

Owner, Amie Le Blanc is an editorial photographer, specializing in wedding and portrait photography. She graduated from the Alberta College of Art and Design with a Bachelor of Design, Major in Photography in May 2012. Previously, she received a Diploma in Studio Art at Capilano University in North Vancouver. She has been capturing "I do's" since 2012. Holy bananas - that’s ten years already!

After buckling down during 2020, Amie has been working full-time as a Fine Arts & Photography teacher in New Westminster. She finds joy in passing on her love of photography and design to her students, teaching them that photography is not only a way to document - but a mode of expression.

Amie shares a studio space with three other wonderful wedding photographers at Studio 11 in The Ellis Building at 1024 Main Street. Studio sessions are available for booking as of June 2023!
